LimeSoda Elements

adopt

LimeSoda Elements is our UI component library (or "style guide", "design system" - see below).

In Elements, we build reusable components that we can put to use in our TYPO3, Magento, React ... projects. In 2018, this proved to be a good way how we improve our efficiency and quality for frontend implementations.

This tool is designed to work well with LimeSoda Frontend Workflow. Together, they allow us to have the same workflow and components, no matter which software the project uses.

When using Elements in a customer project, the client's CD (Corporate Design) can be applied to Elements. This allows us to present the customer a "style guide", show them the available components of their project in their own CD.

In this sense, you might also call it a "design system" - when this entry was written, the web was still not too sure where to draw the line between these terms.
